an evening under the stars

WOODSTOCK?

PICNIC?

HOT AIR BALLOON?

WORLD CHILLAX DAY?

WITH THE BOYSZ 😀

WELL…

IT’S ALL OF THAT

and MORE!

It’s CINEMA EN PLEIN AIR !!!!!!!!!!! 😀

French and tourists alike troop their way to Parc de la Vilette to take advantage of the good weather, giant green lawn and free movies! Woot Woot 😀 The Paris Outdoor Film Festival, which is now on it’s 20th year, celebrates the tender age of youth as its theme.

the ELECTRIC YOUTH ;p

This year’s selection promises a pointed selection of films that explore life, love, loss, adventure, violence and even suicide, through the eyes of the film’s young heros.  From François Truffaut to Jean-Luc Godard, from Woody Allen to Ken Loach, Jim Jarmusch and Sofia Coppola, to Leos Carax, Maurice Pialat and Hong Sang-Soo, this summer the Cinéma en plein air will take you back to your youth.

and for our viewing pleasure,

showing tonight is CLOCKWORK ORANGE 😀

We brought some salad, chorizo, baguette, chips and cold beer to celebrate being way past 20 ;p We are no longer teen-agers! Boo-hoo ;p Every patch of green is covered with everybody, all under the watchful eyes of the police. We watch the giant screen slowly rise up as it gets inflated, trop cool! As soon as the sun sets (around 10 pm), the movie begins…

For lovers, it’s also a good time to snuggle up because it can get pretty cold at night. Aaahhh to be under the stars in the arms of your beloved, watching violent scenes of Clockwork Orange… How romantic! ;p

Trash is properly disposed after the screening

The giant screen is deflated

And the teenagers-no-more goes home feeling a bit cold but violently happy 😀

Let’s break some nose!!!!!!

Waaaaaaa, Cinema en Plein Air ROCKS!!!!!!
